That’s why we have collected the most frequently asked questions we receive at Dr. Milli’s Medical Wellness Center – and answered them below. Concierge Care FAQs
All types of people sign up for concierge care. We see patients of all ages, including children, young adults, those in middle age, and seniors. You don’t have to be ill or have a chronic medical condition to enjoy the extraordinary benefits of concierge care. Anyone who is interested in being proactive about their health will enjoy the convenience and thoroughness of time spent with your concierge care physician.
Your annual membership includes:
- An annual, 2-hour executive physical, which includes several screening measures and an extended lab panel, as well as a metabolic and fitness evaluation.
- 24/7 direct access to your physician for urgent issues by personal cell, secure text messaging, and patient portal.
- Same-day or next-day appointments for urgent issues and no waiting time.
- Extended appointment times (30 minutes for urgent issues, 60 minutes for follow-ups, and 2 hours for physicals).
- Ability to self-schedule appointments from patient portal. There is no need to call the office to make an appointment except when scheduling your Executive Physical!
- Telemedicine appointments available and encouraged for issues that don't require an in-person evaluation, so you don’t have to take time off from work or waste time sitting in traffic to get the medical care you need.
- Additional benefits are described on the SignatureMD website.
We can screen you for a variety of genetic conditions, as well as conduct tests for hormonal issues. These advanced care screenings are available at an additional cost.
Currently, blood is not drawn in Dr. Milli’s Medical Wellness Center office. Dr. Milli will provide you with an order for lab work, and you can use at any LabCorp facility that is convenient for you.
Dr. Milli will make referrals/recommendations when specialists are needed.
Depending on circumstances and availability, evening or weekend appointments may be made. However, many urgent issues can be addressed with your 24/7 direct access to Dr. Milli by cell, secure text messaging, and patient portal. In addition, virtual telehealth doctor appointments during regular business hours can quickly and conveniently resolve many health concerns.
Costs & Insurance FAQs
Annual membership fees vary depending on age and dependent status. Membership for adults 26 and older is $2000 per year*. Membership for dependents between 18 and 26 years old is $1200 per year. Membership for patients 18 and under who are dependents of adults already signed up as members is $500 per year. (*Discount of $150 per person available for spouses who sign up together.)
Yes, we offer the following discounts:
- When couples join together, they pay a discounted annual membership of $1850 per person, for a total cost of $3700 – saving $150 per person.
- Members can add dependents between the ages of 18 and 26 for $1200 per dependent- saving $650 per person. Dependents 18 and under are $500 per dependent - saving $1350 per person.
Patients remain responsible for the cost of their medications, diagnostic labs (except those included with the executive physical), imaging, treatments, and visits to medical specialists when needed.
Yes. We recommend our patients keep their medical insurance, because it can help cover the additional costs listed above (for medication/treatment, diagnostic testing, and specialists).
Currently, Dr. Milli’s Medical Wellness Center does not bill insurance. All of your office visits are included with your membership.
No, because we do not bill insurance. Your office visits are covered by your membership fee.
Each HSA is different. Please check with your health insurance administrator to determine if your plan allows you to use your health savings account (HSA) to cover part or all of your annual membership fee.
Once patients receive their annual executive physical and any related healthcare guidance, the annual fee is deemed substantially earned and no refund will be issued. Your membership will automatically renew one year from the day you joined. You need only notify us in writing 30 days before your annual term date to cancel.
